How it works

Three steps, then it's Badger's problem

1

Add the invoice

Client, amount, due date. Or connect Stripe and your invoices flow in on their own.

2

Badger nudges

Friendly reminders go out on a schedule, escalating gently the longer the invoice sits unpaid.

3

You get settled

Payment lands, chasing stops automatically, and your settled counter ticks up. Done.

The sequence

Polite first. Firmer later.

Every chase follows an escalating sequence you control. Change the timing, the tone, or the words.

Due date
Friendly heads-up "Just a note that invoice INV-0042 is due today."
+3 days
Gentle nudge "Just following up on the below. Have you had a chance to take a look?"
+7 days
Firmer "This invoice is now a week overdue. Could you confirm when payment will be made?"
+30 days
Final notice "This invoice is now 30 days overdue. Please treat this as a final reminder."

The emails

Emails your clients won't hate

Designed, personal, and clearly from you. Replies skip Badger entirely and land in your inbox.

Control

Autopilot or approval. Your call.

Autopilot

Set the schedule once and Badger handles the rest. Nudges send themselves, chasing stops when you're paid, and you get on with your work.

Approve each nudge

Badger prepares every email and asks you first - one tap to send. Perfect until you trust the tone, then flick on Autopilot.

FAQ

Frequent questions

How much does Badger cost?

£9 a month, or £84 a year (a 22% saving). One flat price with everything included - unlimited invoices and chases, no tiers, and no per-invoice fees. Your first chase is free with no card needed, and you can cancel any time.

Will it annoy my clients?

No. The reminders are polite, sensibly spaced, and stop the moment the invoice is settled or your client replies. You set the tone from gentle to firm, and you can read or rewrite every email before it goes out.

Do I have to connect Stripe?

No. You can add an invoice yourself in a few seconds. Connecting Stripe just saves the typing - your unpaid invoices flow in on their own, and a chase stops automatically the instant Stripe sees the payment.

Does Badger touch my money or take a cut?

Never. Badger doesn't process payments and takes nothing from your invoices - you keep every penny. Connecting Stripe lets Badger import your invoices and see when one's been paid so it knows to stop chasing - it only ever reads your data and never creates charges, moves money, or changes anything in your account.

What if they've already paid?

If your Stripe is connected, Badger spots the payment and stops instantly. Otherwise just tap "mark settled" and every reminder halts on the spot.

Do replies come to me?

Yes. Replies land in your own inbox, not ours, and the chase pauses the moment a client replies - so nobody gets nudged in the middle of a conversation.

Will the emails actually reach the inbox?

They're sent from your name through properly authenticated email infrastructure (SPF and DKIM), and designed to read like a normal email you'd send yourself - not a faceless system message. You can also see which reminders were opened.

Can I change what the emails say?

Every word, every send date, on every invoice. Or leave the defaults and let Badger run on autopilot.

What happens if they still don't pay?

After the final notice, Badger stops and tells you. You'll have a full, timestamped record of every reminder sent and opened - exactly what you need if you decide to escalate.
